For those who didn't go through this last time... Doors will open at 7 or 7:30, not sure, have heard both. But if you're wanting to get a good spot for the show, you better get there earlier! As promised, I did get a few demos burnt up for you guys. Not as many as I had hoped due to spending a crap load of cash for last weeks Austin show. (But it was worth it!) So, for those who know me, you better find me fast!!! - Shane
We did it again!!! Drowning Pool show was officially declared sold out earlier today. Hope you got your tickets. We told you it would sell out!! See all of you guys there for another kick ass show.
For those who have not heard the news yet, Drowning Pool is coming back to Clicks in Tyler to tear it up with us and Cindercell again. The last time we did this was on a Sunday and we sold it out about a week before the show. This time its on a Saturday. Word of advice... get your tickets now!!
Thanks goes out to these guys again for helping us spread the word! Hope you got to check out the broadcast tonight if you didn't get a chance to make it out to the show. As Jon said, look for the CD Live for something, or Die for nothing to be out later this summer. Keep your eyes here and we will let you know on the release date as soon as we have it in concrete!! Thanks again for tuning in and lets hope IROC has many more B-days!!
Need we say more? Make sure and come out to Clicks this Tuesday night and see them, us, and a few others. Tickets are only $12 and available at Etix.com and at Clicks. Be sure and look for the pics of the show Wednesday night (yeah, it takes a bit to get them all up!) Not sure where to post them yet since our web server sucks lately, but I'll let you know!
Well, almost. We have gotten 8 songs recorded and they sound awesome. We will release one of them on myspace Friday April 4th. But we still have to go back and do a little reediting on some of the tracks for those that wonder why we haven't put any up as of yet. Plus we are talking about adding 1 or 2 more. As soon as this phase is finshed (around the end of April) its off to production and then to the streets. Big thanks to Drew at MP Studios for making it as easy as possible for getting this done.
First off, don't forget about coming out to San Antonio's White Rabbit this Saturday as we tear it up with Brotherhood! Then later this month we head back into Kilgore for the first time this year. All you Kilgore fans that haven't seen us lately, get ready for a lot of new material! After that, its off to the MPStudios to get to work on the new CD which should be out this summer. And last but not least, We return to Clicks with Mushroomhead & Within Chaos on The 15th of April! Tickets on sale soon!
Shane here.. your street team manager, didn't get to make it out to the show Friday so I don't have any pics for this one, and another friend that was there lost her camera. But you can still listen to the recording of the broadcast on our street team site located at myspace.com/b2nstreet. Big thanks to IROC102 for the broadcast and for getting us on their 1st annual B-day bash show coming up in May!
Looking forward to a great show this Friday night at the Ridglea in Ft Worth as we do it again w/ Within Chaos & Brotherhood!!! If you can't make it out to the show, be sure and listen in starting at 8pm on IROC102.com or at their myspace located at myspace.com/IROC102
As some of you may realize over the next few months, our gig list will be cut down a bit. Just letting everyone know that this is only due to the fact that we are spending more time right now writing new songs and getting ready to hit the studio again in a few months. So bare with us and catch us when you can, and look for a new CD later this year!!!
Just wanted to stop and thank all our fans that came out and supported us this last year. 2007 proved to be one of our best years so far, with a larger fan base than we have ever had and the national acts we have gotten to play with!! Drowning Pool, 5 Finger Death Punch, and Within Chaos just sums up a few of the touring bands that have stopped by... not to mention Powderburn, Adakain, Diecast and others from the local scene. We ventured out farther than we ever have before with shows all the way up in Oklahoma, and our start on the internet radio station IROC 102 broadcasting all over the planet. 2008 can only be bigger and better, so again, thanks to all and see ya soon!!!
Looking forward to this show! Not only does it promise to be one of the best show in December, but we also have 2 close friends of the band that will be celebrating their birthday's that weekend. So come out, buy them a drink or 2, and make it one hell of a night with us. Also, don't forget about the Turkey Drag coming up in a few weeks at Tylers Market Center!(11/19/07)
Holy Hell! What a night! After having a totally kick ass show with 5 Finger & Oblige, the guys headed out to the after party and as of this news brief, I'm not sure they ever made it back home. All I know was I got a call at 3am and they still hadn't came back yet! Pics from the show are being uploaded as I type and should be available in a minute or two. Just got to the website (www.born2nothing.com) or as usual just click here. Don't forget about next Friday as we bring it to Kilgore with the return of Revolution of Knowledge and Cimmeria.(11/11/07)
Clicks is bringing it to Tyler again and this time harder than ever!! 5 Finger Death Punch will be bringning it to ya live along with Oblige and your local heroes of heavy metal Born 2 Nothing, Saturday November 10th 2007 at Clicks in Tyler. See ya there!!!!!Until then, make sure and catch us with our favorite local band Cinder Cell as we tear it up this weekend for the Monsters Ball. Make sure and bring your costumes as I know the guys will be wearing theirs. (Besides I need some new and hopefully interesting pics for the website...lol) Shane - B2N Photographer and News Manager(10/24/07)
PS... Other national acts maybe already in the works so keep it here for the latest info...
What a journey! Our thousand mile round trip started off with the 19th Hole in Houston Tx jamming out with some definate metal bands such as Virus & Burn the Wicked! Then the journey continued all the way up to Lawton OK where we stopped in at the Railhead Saloon. I personally would recommend this place to anyone headed up to that area. With a great sound system and a light show to rival most clubs twice their size, we had a blast! Unfortunately we couldn't hang out longer as we had another 5 hours back home but we will be back up there again soon! Shane - B2N Road trip manager...lol(10/14/07)
Its time to bring it back home again! Yeah, they come out to every show they can make it to, and then once or twice a year we bring it back to them! Its a special weekend for Rob, but I won't jinx it by telling everybody why... So if you consider yourself one of the monkeys, you best be there!!! Also, sorry there has not been any coverage of the last couple of shows, my broke ass has been sitting at home, but things are getting back to normal now. Pics and etc. should be back and going strong as of tonight!!! Shane - B2N Webmaster(9/22/07)
Wow, what a show last night. Thanks for everyone that helped us sell it out! Photos are now up in our photo gallery. Now it's time to put on our war paint and get ready for next weekend. Batlle of the Bands time!! You cast the votes, you choose the winner, and the winner moves on to the 2nd round on September 29th. We hope to see everyone back out to see the area's top rock genre bands go head to head as we all work our way to a recording deal. (09/10/07)
If you didn't get your tickets yet, you can't say we didn't warn you! Yep, that right! The Drowning Pool show this Sunday is SOLD OUT! But you can still come out next weekend and catch us and Cindercell, this time going head 2 head in the biggest battle Tyler has seen. MPF vs. Cindercell vs. Born 2 Nothing! Going to be another sell out!!! (09/07/07)
Another band added to the Clicks show with Drowning Pool...Cult to Follow. They will be replacing The Exies which looks like they may have dropped some of their tour dates. Also, this show is all but sold out at this point. Hope you all got your tickets by now. Don't forget to come out early as the line to get in will be long and the show starts early too. We will be starting out a little after opening the doors, which will be at 6pm. (09/06/07)
Ok, if you haven't got your tickets by now, I suggest you do so quickly. Also, as stated in the headline, Deepfield out of South Carolina has been added to the show. The line-up is now: Drowning Pool, The Exies, & Deepfield, with opening acts from us and Cindercell. Look forward to seeing you all there!!! Click the links above to check out the myspaces.(9/04/07)
Ok, if you are reading this you can clearly see that we have a redesigned website in the works. Hoping that it has a newer fresher look than the old and the media page now contains a photo gallery that is much easier for me to update. This means that I will be putting more of the recent pictures up that I stopped doing on the old website because the process was so time consuming. We also now have more songs on a newer player as well as some of our favorite videos up.
I should have some background wallpapers up within just a few days as well as some banners for all of our fans. I am still working on a few more additions here and there to make this site easier to keep up to date. Also, coming soon to all that have and will send us your email, I will be starting a monthly (or bi-weekly) newsletter letting all of our die hard fans know what is happening with us. Shane - Webmaster (08/31/07)
Just letting all know that we have tickets available for the Drowning Pool show if you need them. You know they will go quick, so you better get them while you can! Contact us here & on myspace if you would like to get them from us...(08/11/07)
"After returning from playing for troops overseas, Drowning Pool was compelled to give back to those who serve our country. Drowning Pool and Iraq Afghanistan Veterans of America have launched a campaign called This Is For the Soldiers, asking Americans to support legislation currently before Congress which addresses the urgent need to get better mental health care for veterans. The campaign includes a website (www.thisisforthesoldiers.org) which hosts a petition urging Congress to support the Lane Evans Mental Health Care Reform bill. Thousands and thousands have already signed the petition.
For each ticket sold on the upcoming This is for the Soldiers Tour, Drowning Pool will donate one dollar to the IAVA & USO (.50 going to IAVA and .50 going to USO)."
Make sure and visit the website and then go get your tickets at Clicks now!
